KUWAIT. (THECOUNT) — William Edward Friese, of Rockport, West Virginia has been identified as the soldier killed in Kuwait on Thursday.
Sgt. Friese, 30, died on Thursday from a non-combat related incident, according to the Department of Defense on Saturday.
A cause of death was not provided by officials.
No further details were made available.
The incident is under investigation.
Friese was assigned to the 821st Engineer Company, 1092nd, Engineer Battalion, 111th Engineer Brigade, Summersville, West Virginia, reports WOWKTV.
