SHREVEPORT, LA. (THECOUNT) — Antonio Williams has been identified as the U.S. Postal worker shot dead while delivering mail in Shreveport on Saturday.
Williams, 52, was shot and killed while making deliveries in Shreveport, Louisiana, authorities said.
He was on his usual delivery route when he was attacked around 11:20 a.m., according to NewsJax4.
Williams was rushed to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries.
Officials released no suspect or motive information.
Shreveport Police and federal authorities are investigating the shooting.
