GREENVILLE, SC. (THECOUNT) — Nadeja Jermainequa Pressley has been identified as the South Carolina woman shot and killed by her own father who thought she was a home intruder Sunday.
Pressley, 23, was fatally shot by her Greenville father who mistook her someone illegally entering his Greenville home on Sunday.
Greenville County Sheriff’s Office officials say the father heard someone trying to enter his home early Sunday, so he shot through a door.
When the man opened the door he found his daughter suffering from gunshot wounds.
Pressley was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
