BRUNSWICK HILLS TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Laurence W. Bogner, of Hinckley, Ohio, has been identified as the motorcyclist killed after striking a deer in Medina County Friday night.
Larry Bogner was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle traveling on N. Carpenter Rd near Grafton Rd., in Brunswick Hills Township, Ohio, when he came into contact with a deer in the roadway before 9:30 p.m. Friday.
Bogner was ejected from his motorcycle during the collision with the animal.
The victim was transported to an area hospital and then helicoptered to Cleveland Metro Hospital where he was later pronounced dead of massive blunt force head trauma injuries.
Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, reports Fox8.
Bogner was not wearing a helmet, according to the crash report.
