WINSTON-SALEM, NC. (THECOUNT) — A North Carolina teen boy crashed into the front entrance of Winston-Salem La Casa Lopez Mexican Grill on Wednesday afternoon while attempting to park a vehicle, say officials.
According to a news release from Winston-Salem police, a 16-year-old boy was operating a vehicle in the eatery’s parking lot when he accidentally accelerated forward into the building.
The crash was reported at 4:47 p.m. at 3028 Healy Drive, according to MyFox8.
No one was injured in the crash.
It is unclear if anyone was cited at the scene.
The teen’s name was not provided because of his age.
No word on if the eatery will remain open as damages are assessed.
