PEORIA, AZ. (THECOUNT) — The body of missing scuba diver Joshua Rosen, of Tucson, Arizona, has been recovered authorities announced on Tuesday.
Rosen, 30, went missing while diving with a group at Lake Pleasant over the weekend, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said.
The agency said MCSO Lake Patrol divers and those with Commercial Divers International, of Goodyear, recovered the body in an area that is about 200 feet deep, reports AZFamily.
Deputies were initially called out to the lake when a group of scuba divers reported Rosen missing on Saturday.
It’s unclear why Rosen never resurfaced.
MCSO said the death wasn’t suspicious and the County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
