CLAYTON COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Hanna Payne has been identified as the woman arrested after being involved in an Atlanta two-vehicle collision and shooting and killing the other driver.
Payne, 21, was operating a Jeep on Riverdale Road near the I-285 when she was involved in a crash with a pickup truck in Clayton County on Tuesday night.
A witness said Payne exited her vehicle and confronted the pickup driver around 6:15 p.m. and at some point produced a weapon and opened fire on the pickup driver.
“She jumped out the vehicle and (was) punching him, telling him, ‘Get out of the car. Get out of the car. Get out of the car,'” the witness said, as reported by WSBTV.
The victim in the fatal incident was not identified.
Officials provided no further information on the deadly incident as of Tuesday night.
