WARWICK, RI. (THECOUNT) — The Community College of Rhode Island said it was evacuating its Warwick campus Wednesday morning.
“Please evacuate the Warwick Campus immediately. Remain calm. Wait for further instructions,” CCRI said in a tweet. “Do not remain in the parking lot area.
CCRI did not give any indication what prompted the evacuation beyond a “public safety concern.”
The school said classes are suspended until further notice, report TurnTo10.
The evacuation was limited to CCRI Knight Campus, located on East Avenue, Warwick, RI.
