MAUI COUNTY, HI. (THECOUNT) — Cameron Kosman, of Wailuku, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Wailea on Sunday night.

Kosman, 21, was traveling on a motorcycle on Wailea Alanui Drive south of Wailea Ike Drive before 8:10 p.m. on Sunday when the fatal crash occurred.

Police say Kosman was operating a Yamaha motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway.

According to police reports, the motorcycle struck the center median throwing Kosman off his bike.

Police say Kosman was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.

The involvement of speed, drugs and alcohol are still being determined as the investigation is ongoing, reports MauiNow.

According to social media, Kosman was originally from Buffalo, NY.
