‘Betrayed’ Rapper Boosie BadAzz & NFL Jets Antonio Allen Busted In GA – Drugs, Weapons ‘Failure To Maintain Lane’

NEWNAN, GA. (THECOUNT) — Louisiana rapper, Lil’ Boosie, has been arrested on drug and weapon charges in Newnan, Georgia, the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Monday, April 8.

Boosie “Badazz,” 36, aka Torrence Hatch Jr., was arrested at the conclusion of a traffic stop while traveling in a Dodge Charger with former NFL player, Antonio Allen.

The pair were charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of schedule I narcotics, failure to maintain lane, and possession of marijuana, reports KSLA.

“The sheriff’s office says the two were arrested when a deputy noticed a white Dodge Charger swerving in and out of its lane, nearly sideswiping another vehicle, on Crossing Bypass. According to a report from The Newnan Times-Herald, the deputy noticed a strong marijuana smell coming from the vehicle after he pulled it over.”

During a search of the vehicle, the sheriff’s office says they found 10gs of the green stuff and a loaded 9mm handgun.

Deputies also reportedly discovered a THC vape and a “bag full of cash.”

According to the police report, Boosie admitted to distracted driving claiming the erratic driving was as a result of “talking on the phone.”

The report noted that Boosie introduced Allen as his “bodyguard.”

No word of if either player pulled the “don’t you know me? I’m famous!” card, but maybe a bodycam video will emerge in the near future to shed some light on that issue..

The rental car was out of Florida, according to the report.

The two remained jailed and no bond has been set at the time of this writing.
