DAYTON, TN. (THECOUNT) — Chelsea Gunter has been identified as the teen tragically killed in a Rhea county vehicle crash Wednesday night.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help family pay for funeral arrangement.
Gunter, 15, was killed in a vehicle crash after 8:00 pm while traveling on White Flats Road, in Dayton, Rhea County, TN.
Reports say, Gunter was a passenger in a vehicle driven by another teen, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. It then struck a ditch which caused the it to roll several times.
The young victim was ejected from the vehicle during the violent collision.
An accident report noted the victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The juvenile driver is facing charges.
Another passenger was also injured.
The names and condition of the other occupants were not provided by officials.
Gunter was a beloved student at Rhea County High School.

The funeral for the beloved Rhea County High School student will be held Saturday, according to Local10.
