PHOENIX, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Police have identified Shelby Verderosa as the young Phoenix, Arizona mother shot in a double-fatal shooting that also left four others injured.
Shelby Verderosa, 17 and 30-year-old Jorge Rodriguez, were shot dead following a verbal altercation at a house party in the area of 27th and Northern avenues early Tuesday morning.
The shooter has been arrested and identified as 29-year-old Jeffery Rhone.
According to police, six people were shot in total. Two of them, Verderosa and Rodriguez, were pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Four other men ranging in age from 19 to 56 were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive with serious but not -life-threatening injuries, reports News12.
Rhone was arrested Tuesday and booked on murder charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
