THE WOODLANDS, TX. (THECOUNT) — Brent Brock has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in The Woodlands, TX, on Friday afternoon.
Brock, 54, died following a workplace shooting followed by a fiery vehicle crash in the 2100 block of Buckthorne Place, in The Woodlands around 4 p.m. Friday, according to law enforcement officials.
The suspect in the shooting has been identified as 63-year-old John Williams, reports KHOU.
The exact circumstances that led to the shooting remain unclear but authorities said it appears to be a “personal matter” gone wrong.
A fiery vehicle collision that occurred near the shooting scene on Buckthorne appears to be related, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation is ongoing.
