EVANSVILLE, IN. (THECOUNT) – Elizabeth Joanne Fox, the wife of Indiana firefighter Robert Doerr, who was shot dead outside his Evansville home on Monday, has been arrested.
Fox, 47, was booked into jail around 5:30 Tuesday morning on an obstruction of justice charge, according to jail records.
According to the Vanderburgh Co. Jail website, Fox was arrested and jailed on a single count of obstruction of justice.
Doerr was shot and killed outside his Oakley Street home last week. The funeral service for Doerr was held Monday afternoon, reports 14News.
Evansville police say they will be releasing more details about Fox’s arrest later this morning.
