CASS COUNTY, NE. (THECOUNT) — Travis Egan, of Lincoln, Nebraska, has been identified as victim killed in a crash on Interstate 80 near Greenwood on Monday.
Egan, 33, was killed in a crash while operating a Honda Civic on I-80 around 8 a.m Monday.
According to reports, Egan was traveling on I-80, when for unknown reasons, lost control of his vehicle and crossed centerlines and rolled over several times.
Egan was ejected from the vehicle during the violent crash. He was then struck by a Jeep Grand Laredo.
The driver of the Jeep remained on scene and cooperated with arriving officials.
Egan was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The driver of the Grand Loredo was not injured in the crash, according to 1011Now.
The investigation is ongoing.
