CLINTON, IN. (THECOUNT) — Jeanne L. Stern of Clinton, Indiana, has been identified as the body found floating in the Wabash River in western Indiana on Saturday.
The body of Stern, 56, was discovered over the weekend in the Vermillion County waterway on Saturday, according to the coroner.
Stern’s body was located Saturday evening along the Wabash River near Riverside Cemetery in Clinton, about 60 miles (96 kilometers) west of Indianapolis near the Indiana-Illinois state line.
The cause and manner of Stern’s death is pending the results of toxicology tests and a review of the final autopsy report, says ccenterdispatch.
The investigation is ongoing.
