HOUSTON, TX. (THECOUNT) — The Houston Police Department has identified the suspects in yesterday’s shootout in southeast Houston that injured five officers.
HPD has identified the suspects killed in yesterday’s shootout as Rhogena Nicholas, 58. The male suspect is Dennis Tuttle, 59, reports KHOU.
The Houston Police Department says several over their own officers have been shot in the line of duty.

Houston Police Union President Joe Gamaldi confirmed five officers were hit.
We currently have 5 officers shot, all on their way to the hospital. One is being life flighted. On the way to the hospital, will update when I can. source

Gamaldi said one of those officers has been airlifted to a nearby hospital.
