SEATTLE, WA. (THECOUNT) — KIRO listeners are learning of the canceling of Ron Upshaw and Don O’Neil, The Ron & Don Show, after tuning in Friday to find the popular hosts missing and permanently off-air.
The Ron & Don Show is no more, according to q13fox, after the top rated talk radio show that aired weekday afternoons went dark on Friday.
KIRO Radio 97.3 FM announced the news Friday morning, saying that popular hosts, Ron Upshaw and Don O’Neil, who helmed the coveted 3-7 p.m. time slot, had hosted their final show Thursday.
“Last night was Ron and Don’s last show on KIRO Radio. We want to thank them both for their service and contribution to the station, our company and to the communities we serve. They both have left long legacies on KIRO Radio and we wish them only the best.” source
No further details were given about the reason for the end of the long-running talk show.
It was not immediately known what would replace the 3-7 p.m. time slot on KIRO Radio.

I stopped listening to their garbage about a year ago, BUT they did do a lot of great fundraising for the community. I wish them well, but I wont miss them.
