CLEVELAND, OH. (THECOUNT) — Dr. Lara Kollab, a Cleveland, Ohio-based doctor, is in the news today after social media discovered a series of controversial comments she posted to Twitter.
Kollab, 27, tweeted claiming that she would intentionally prescribe the wrong medications to people of Jewish descent, saying she will, “purposely give all the yahood [Jews] the wrong meds.”
Following the discovery of her “wrong meds” tweet, it was found out that Dr. Kollab has been posting anti-Semitic messages on social media for “years.” In the past, Kollab has written that she hopes “Allah will kill the Jews” and referred to Jewish people as “dogs,” according to Coed.
People on social media where quick to point out the doctor’s blatant disregard of the hippocratic oath, while others called for an immediate investigation.
The Cleveland Clinic confirmed that Kollab is no longer employed at the hospital.
“This individual was employed as a supervised resident at our hospital from July to September 2018. She is no longer working at Cleveland Clinic. In no way do these beliefs reflect those of our organization. We fully embrace diversity, inclusion and a culture of safety and respect across our entire health system,” the Cleveland Clinic said in a statement.

The Hippocratic Oath is an oath historically taken by physicians. It is one of the most widely known of Greek medical texts. In its original form, it requires a new physician to swear, by a number of healing Gods, to uphold specific ethical standards.
Cleveland is a major city in Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie. Landmarks dating to its days as a turn-of-the-20th-century manufacturing center include the Steamship William G. Mather, now part of the Great Lakes Science Center. It’s also known for the stately Cleveland Museum of Art, the Cleveland Orchestra, and the I.M. Pei–designed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum, source wikipedia.
