BATON ROUGE, LA. (THECOUNT) — Gerald Augustus Jr. has been identified as the victim found shot dead in Baton Rouge early Christmas morning.
The Baton Rouge Police Department reported officers responded to Blackberry Street & Williamson Street, in Baton Rouge, LA, around 5:15 a.m. Upon arrival, Augustus, 37, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.
Sgt. Don Coppola Jr. with BRPD said Gerald Augustus Jr. was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim’s name has not been released. source
