ESSEX, CT. (THECOUNT) — William Demars, of Essex, CT, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday single-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon.
Demars, 58, was killed after a vehicle he was operating, exited the roadway for unknown reasons, and struck a tree in Essex on Saturday afternoon.
The deadly crash occurred before 4 p.m. on Gates Rd, at Cedar Grove Terrace, in Essex, CT.
Demars was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force injuries consistent with the violent crash.
Police said 58-year-old, Essex resident, William Demars passed away at the Shoreline Clinic after police said his car crashed into a tree near the intersection of Gates Rd. and Cedar Grove Terrace just before 4 p.m. source
