PHOENIX, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Matthew Holtson, has been identified as the skateboarder struck and killed by a vehicle in Phoenix, AZ, Saturday night.
Holtson, 24, was reportedly skateboarding against traffic when he was struck by a vehicle Saturday night near 19th Ave and West Dunlap Avenue, in Phoenix, AZ.
Authorities say the driver of a dark-colored sedan struck the victim and fled the scene.
Holtson was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision..
