PATTEN. (THECOUNT) — Muzzafar Ahmad Khan and Aisha, of Singhpora Pattan, have been identified as the newlywed couple killed in a motorcycle crash in Tapper area of Pattan, in north Kashmir Baramulla district on Friday.
The couple were traveling on a motorcycle when it collided with a vehicle. Police later said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred Friday.
The newlyweds reportedly exchanged vows just one week ago and were enjoying their honeymoon when the tragic crash happened in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.
“An i-20 car hit the bike, injuring the couple. They, however, died on way to hospital. We are investigating the incident,” the police official said. source
The investigation is ongoing.
Friends and family members took to Facebook to remember the couple. Aisha was not pictured.
