MO Man Jeremy Lewis ID’d As Victim Killed By Saturday Tornado That Struck Aurora Inn Motel

AURORA, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Lewis, of Crane, Mo., has been identified as the victim killed after a tornado struck an Aurora motel.

Lewis, 34, was lodging at the Aurora Inn Motel when a violent storm hit before 1 a.m. Saturday.

First responders discovered Lewis outside the motel. He had a room on the motel’s second floor.

Police say Jeremy Lewis, of Crane, Mo., died when the storm hit the Aurora Inn Motel. Emergency crews found him outside the motel. He had a room on the motel’s second floor. source

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado hit the area shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.

The storm damaged the nearby Sutherlands Lumber Company and the Mayse Auto dealership.

Aurora is a city in Lawrence County, Missouri, United States. The population was 7,508 at the 2010 census, according to Wikipedia.
