AURORA, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jeremy Lewis, of Crane, Mo., has been identified as the victim killed after a tornado struck an Aurora motel.
Lewis, 34, was lodging at the Aurora Inn Motel when a violent storm hit before 1 a.m. Saturday.
First responders discovered Lewis outside the motel. He had a room on the motel’s second floor.

The National Weather Service confirmed an EF1 tornado hit the area shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday.
The storm damaged the nearby Sutherlands Lumber Company and the Mayse Auto dealership.
