BALTIMORE, MD. (THECOUNT) — An audience member says a man interrupted a performance of “Fiddler on the Roof” at Baltimore’s Hippodrome Theatre, by yelling anti-semitic slurs Wednesday.
A witness said the man, who was seated in the balcony of the theatre on Wednesday night, began shouting “Heil Hitler, Heil Trump” during the performance intermission.
The outburst cause many people attending the play to flee the scene fearing an escalation.
The witness stated that individuals started running and “waiting to hear a gunshot.”
The man was escorted out and the show without further incident. The performance continued.
