CANTON, OH. (THECOUNT) — David Barringer has been identified as the victim killed in a head-on pickup truck crash Wednesday night in Stark County.
Barringer, 38, died following a Wednesday night crash in Stark County involving two pickup trucks.
Authorities say the crash happened at 7:02 p.m. in the 6400 block of Ohio 43, in North Canton, OH.
David Barringer was driving a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck when “he went left of center into the northbound lane,” according to the Stark County Sheriff’s Office. His vehicle collided head on with a 2014 Ford pickup truck. source
Barringer was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent crash.
The driver of the Ford was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
