ALBUQUERQUE, NM. (THECOUNT) — Waid Anthony Melton, the man suspected of shooting three people Monday night, has been found dead, Albuquerque police said.
Police said, Melton, 30, shot three people at a Ben E. Keith Foods, located at, 3205 Broadway Blvd SE, in Albuquerque, NM.
The victims are all in critical condition, according to officials. Investigators said he ran away after the shooting, prompting an hours-long search that ended early Tuesday morning.
Investigators haven’t said how Melton died, but revealed he was found near his vehicle in Placitas, New Mexico, which is just a few miles north of Albuquerque. source
