Florida Votes To Ban Greyhound Racing, Vaping At Workplace, Offshore Drilling

FLORIDA. (THECOUNT) — Florida voted to ban greyhound racing by 2021, signaling a possible end of the sport in the United States.

Voters also banned offshore oil drilling and the use of electronic cigarettes in enclosed workplaces, aka, vaping.

Voters on Tuesday also approved Amendment 4, which says that most felons will automatically have their voting rights restored when they complete their sentences or go on probation. The amendment exempts those convicted of sex offenses and murder.

The Sunshine State was deciding on 12 proposed constitutional amendments covering a wide range of topics.
