ECTOR COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Lisa Hargy, from Odessa, TX, has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash west of Odessa on Saturday morning.
Hargy, 47, the driver of an Altima, collided with a semi-trailer Saturday at 7:13 a.m. while traveling on North Knox Avenue and West University, in Odessa, TX.
DPS said in a crash report that Hargy failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into an 18-wheeler.
The driver of the Altima, Hargy, passed away at the scene. The driver of the truck tractor was not hurt in the crash. source
According to DPS, Hargy was not wearing a seat belt at the time.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.
