LITITZ, PA. (THECOUNT) — The coroner has announced the sad news that, 16-year-old Jack R. Nicholson, from Lititz, PA, died at the hospital following the crash where a woman hit a school bus carrying students.
STATEMENT FROM WARWICK SCHOOL DISTRICT:
“As we work through this difficult time, the Warwick School District continues to provide support for all of our students and families. Counseling will be available on Monday, October 29th starting at 8 a.m. at Bonfield Elementary, Warwick Middle School and Warwick High School.”
Nicholson was killed and four others were hurt in the multivehicle crash Friday afternoon in Lititz, Lancaster County.
Two of the four injuries were also students. The names of others involved have not been released.
According to Brett Hambright, a spokesman with the Lancaster District Attorney’s Office, a 63-year-old woman was driving recklessly for several minutes before causing the crash involving seven other cars on the 200 block of West Orange Street. That’s near Warwick High School. source
The woman, another adult and three high school students were taken to a hospital, Hambright said. There’s no word on the extent of their injuries. Several other people were treated at the scene.
