KANSAS CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Serenity Williams has been identified as the woman killed following a shooting early Saturday afternoon in Kansas City.
Kansas City police have now named “Serenity Roby-Williams,” 19, as the victim in a Saturday morning shooting that occurred in the 6900 block of E 114th Street, just north of Longview Rd., around 1:45 p.m., according to officials.
Kansas City Police responded to a call of shots fired. Upon arrival, a female victim was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Roby-Williams was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead by clergy.
Officials offered no motive and released no suspect information in the fatal incident.
When officers arrived on scene they found several people tending to Roby-Williams, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital where she later died from her injuries. Police identified the victim Sunday morning as 19-year-old Serenity Roby-Williams.source
