LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) – Stacy Talbot has been identified as the victim found shot dead after he was observed falling from a moving vehicle in Lincoln Thursday night.
Talbot, 42, was identified as the victim discovered suffering from at least one gunshot wound while laying on 14th at Judson Street, in Lincoln, NE, Thursday at around 8.30 p.m., say Lincoln Police, who confirmed they are investigating the death as a homicide.
Talbot was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 9:16 p.m.
LPD said just before 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, officers were called to area of 14th and Judson on a call of a man jumping from a moving vehicle, and a body was discovered laying on 14th Street. Police said the man, Stacy Talbot, 42, had a gunshot wound to his chest. source
LPD said crime scene investigators have been examining evidence, and have determined the crime was not random, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Talbot.
The investigation is ongoing.
