DURHAM, NC. (THECOUNT) — Tavares Hall, of Durham, NC, has been identified as the victim killed in a Durham shooting Thursday night.
Hall, 34, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound around 8:30 p.m., after officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 1100 block of Lancaster Street, in Durham, NC.
The victim was transported to an area hospital by a private vehicle where he was later pronounced dead of injuries suffered in the incident.
Just before 8:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Lancaster Street after a report of a sound of shots. When they arrived, officers found that a man had been shot and driven to the hospital in a personal vehicle. Authorities said the man died at the hospital a short time later. source
According to investigators, the shooting appeared to be targeted.
No arrests have been made and no suspects or motives in the killing have been released.
