HADDAM, CT. (THECOUNT) — Andrew Douglas Hamilton of Norwich, CT, has been identified as the victim killed in a crash in Haddam, CT, on Thursday.
Hamilton, 41, was fatally injured after being involved in a two-vehicle crash on Connecticut 81 near Hubbard Road in Haddam. The driver of the second vehicle, Victoria Foxx, 40, of North Haven, suffered serious injuries, troopers said.
State police on Friday morning identified the victim as 41-year-old Andrew Douglas Hamilton of Norwich. The Life Star medical helicopter was called to the scene, but couldn’t respond due to weather. source
Both victims were transported via ambulance to an area hospital.
Hamilton was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the wreck.
Foxx’s current condition was not provided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
