JEFFERSONVILLE, IN. (THECOUNT) – A store clerk at the Stop-N-Go gas station in Jeffersonville, Indiana, was shot and killed during a robbery. The fallen worker has not been identified.
The Stop-N-Go is located at, 2402 Allison Ln, Jeffersonville, IN, across the street from Jeffersonville High School.
Jeffersonville Police say they got a call around 10:48 p.m. Thursday night
They say someone called 9-1-1 and said they had not seen an employee inside the store for several minutes.
When officers arrived they found the clerk dead in the back of the store.
Jeffersonville Police say the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. source
Police say a suspect has not been arrested.
The investigation into the robbery is ongoing.
