CLAYTON COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Kelsey Quayle has been identified as the woman killed after an unknown person shot her in the neck while she was operating a vehicle in Riverdale, GA.
Police says they are actively searching for the suspect or suspects involved in the tragic shooting death of the 28-year-old aspiring actress.
Quayle was on her way to work in a vehicle when she was shot in the neck. She then drove into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into three other vehicle.
Quayle’s mother told local reporters that her daughter has passed away as a result of her injuries.
Quayle was rushed to Southern Regional Medical Center with critical injuries, and was later transferred to Grady Memorial Hospital. Quayle’s mother confirmed to CBS46 reporter Aiyana Cristal that she died at Grady. The family flew in from California this week to be with her and say their goodbyes. source
Police said they are in the process of reviewing surveillance video from a nearby gas station.
A motive in the killing is unknown.

Quayle moved to Atlanta just a few months ago to a pursue a career in modeling.
According to Facebook Quayle worked as a Product Presentation Specialist at Alfa Romeo USA.
