GA Pike County HS Student Dylan Thomas Injured During Football Game Friday Dies Sunday In ATL Hospital

ZEBULON GA. (THECOUNT) — Dylan Thomas, the Pine County High School player injured during a game Friday night, has died in an Atlanta hospital.

Thomas, a teen football player for the school, was participating in a game when he suffered a head injury.

He was transported to Atlanta’s Grady Hospital where he passed away overnight Sunday.

Dylan Thomas, a linebacker on the team, suffered a head injury during the game against Greenville High School. He was airlifted from the field and taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta where he passed away Sunday night. source

Pike County High School, located in Zebulon, GA, is about an hour south of Atlanta.

Thomas’ friends and family gathered on the high school football field on Sunday as a show of support.

A GoFundMe page has been set up on Facebook to assist the family.
