NEW YORK, NY. (THECOUNT) — SNL‘s cold opening, featuring actor, Matt Damon, avoided goofing on the testimony of Christine Blasey Ford, and instead went straight for the neck of Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh in last night’s kickoff of the long running show’s 44th season.
“We’ve heard from the alleged victim, but now it’s time to hear from the hero, Judge Brett Kavanaugh,” says Sen. Chuck Grassley, played by cast member Alex Moffat.
In walks Damon, doing his best Kavanaugh, complete with excessive water drinking and multiple beer references.
