BROOKLYN, NY. (THECOUNT) — Little Shimron Smith is dead, after being tossed out a Brooklyn window by his 20-year-old brother.
The victim’s 20-year-old brother was taken in police custody after being accused of tossing the boy from the building, possibly from the roof or from a window of the family’s apartment.
Police responded to a 911 call around 3:30 a.m. Saturday on the 2400 block of Nostrand Avenue in Midwood and found the 4-year-old boy unconscious and unresponsive in the courtyard of a building.
Smith was pronounced dead on blunt force trauma consistent with the fall.
The child, identified as Shimron Smith, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. source
