CAMBRIDGE, MA. (THECOUNT) — Ashley Dorman Monturio, of Harwich, Massachusetts, has been identified as the suspect in a deadly hit-and-run Thursday in the parking lot of the Cambridge Housing Authority LBJ Apartments, located at, 150 Erie St, Cambridge, MA
Monturio, 41, was later located and arrested Friday after being charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in the death of 80-year-old, Romelia Gallardo, according to a Middlesex County District Attorney’s office press release.
Authorities allege Monturio was behind the wheel of a white Infiniti QX 60 SUV that struck Romelia Gallardo, 80, of Cambridge, around 12:30 p.m. Thursday as Gallardo pushed a wheeled walker in the parking lot at the Cambridge Housing Authority building at 150 Erie St. source
Gallardo was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Monturio had no comment as she made her way into court Friday.
