HONOLULU, HI. (THECOUNT) — Haleiwa Joe’s, in sleepy Haleiwa, Hawaii, was the scene of a rare shooting death in the Aloha state Friday night.
Police say, a 26-year-old man was identified as the victim after multiple shots rang out in the parking lot at Haleiwa Joe’s, located at, 66-011 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa, HI, at around 10:30 p.m. on Friday.
One person was dead at the scene, and witnesses say multiple people were injured. The restaurant was evacuated and Haleiwa Loop was put on lockdown around 11 p.m. HPD is not allowing anyone in or out of the area. source
Investigators believe that the incident stemmed from an altercation.
