PORT ORANGE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Diana Mihaela Kessler, of Port Orange, Florida, has been identified as the woman found dead Monday in a Volusia County residence.
Kessler, 32, was found dead at a home in the 5900 block of Hatteras Drive. Police said Kessler did not officially reside at the dwelling which is now a crime scene..
Officials announced a person of interest in the case, identified as, 37-year-old Thomas C. McMullen. Kessler and McMullen as acquaintances, according to investigators.
McMullen was described as a white man, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 180 pounds. He has hazel eyes and brown hair. He is possibly driving a maroon 1998 four-door Buick Regal that has extensive damage on the driver side and the Florida tag M534QE. source
Police said they do not know if McMullen is armed or a threat to others.
