HAMPTON, VA. (THECOUNT) — Samuel Elijah Hill, from Newport News, has been identified as the victim found suffering from gunshot wounds Thursday night in Hampton, VA.
Authorities have launched a homicide investigation after Hill, 33, was found fatally shot Thursday evening. Officers were dispatched to the area on calls of shots fired in the 300 block of Lincoln Street just before 10 p.m.
Hill was pronounced dead at the scene.
