GA Man Kevin Carranza Acosta ID’d As Victim Shot Dead In Taxi Outside ATL Acapulco Restaurant

DEKALB COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Kevin Carranza Acosta of Brookhaven, GA, has been identified as the fatality after three victims were involved in an altercation outside Acapulco Restaurant and Bar, located at, 5268 Buford Hwy NE # A1, Atlanta, GA, early Sunday morning.

Acosta, 21, was shot dead and two others were injured outside the DeKalb County restaurant on Sunday.

The victims were inside of a taxi cab when a suspect pulled up next to them. The suspect followed the victims and opened fire on the taxi cab.

Police identified the victim as Kevin Carranza Acosta, 21, of Brookhaven. source

They said the two other victims are expected to make a full recovery. Their names were not released.

Police said they do not have much information about the suspect vehicles.
