WEST POINT, IA. (THECOUNT) — Sadie Alvarado has been identified as the victim who died in an accident in southeast Iowa.
Alvarado, 20, was named by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office as the body of a young woman found in southeast Iowa.
Alvarado’s body was found early Sunday morning in rural Lee County, about 5 miles (8 kilometers) southwest of West Point. The circumstances surrounding her death haven’t been released yet.
Damian Hamann, 28, of Morning Sun, Iowa has been arrested in the case. Hamann has been charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident Resulting in a Death. He turned himself into the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday. source
An autopsy has been scheduled on Tuesday.
The case is still under investigation.
