UNION CITY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Marcellus Vaughn, of Fairburn, GA, has been identified as the victim found shot dead at an apartment complex in Union City late Sunday night.
Vaughn, 25, was named as the victim killed in a shooting that occurred around 9:30 p.m. at the Shannon Chase Apartment Homes, located near Parkway Rd., and Beverly Engram Pkwy.
Vaughn was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries suffered in the shooting.
The Union City Police Department say they have secured a warrant for Demetrius Spratlin, of Atlanta, Ga., in connection to the fatal shooting.
Spratlin is considered to be armed and dangerous.
According to police, 25 year-old Marcellus Vaughn of Fairburn was found fatally shot outside one of the units at the complex. source
