CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. — Alfred J. Bingham has been identified by authorities as the man who died after an early morning single-crash Thursday in Chesterfield County.
Chesterfield Police said, Bingham, 53, was killed after a vehicle he was operating exited the roadway in the in the 8000 block of Qualla Road and struck a tree.

Officials said Bingham was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead from blunt force trauma injuries.
“The investigation indicates that Bingham, of the 10700 block of Trailwood Drive, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash,” police said. source
Officials said the investigation is ongoing.
