PHOENIX, AZ. (THECOUNT) — Irene Conger has been identified as the woman killed following a violent vehicle-vs-train crash on W Bethany Home Rd and N 19th Ave in Phoenix, AZ., just before 2:30 a.m.
Phoenix police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Sunday morning near Bowlero Christown bowling alley, located at 1919 W Bethany Home Rd, Phoenix, AZ.
Police say they are investigating the death of Conger, 42, as a homicide.
A tan colored newer model Chevy Tahoe and a newer model 4 door sedan are involved in the accident. Both cars crossed the light rail median and ended up on the light rail’s tracks. Police say the woman, identified as Irene Conger, 42, was transported to a local hospital where she died from her injuries. The driver of the Honda did not appear impaired, according to police. The 61-year-old male victim was also transported to a local hospital for precautionary reasons. source
