DAVENPORT, IA. (THECOUNT) — Davenport man, Drew Morgan, has been identified as the teen killed after the motorcycle he was operating collided Thursday with a Jeep Wrangler.
Morgan, 19, was traveling on a motorcycle at 7:08 p.m northbound at West 53rd and Division street, when the fatal crash occurred, Davenport police said.
Police said the motorcyclist was northbound on Division Street and was riding through the intersection when his bike struck the passenger side of a Jeep Wrangler that was eastbound on West 53rd Street and also going through the intersection. source
Morgan was transported at an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma.
Occupants of the Jeep were not injured.
The crash is remains under investigation.
