YUBA CITY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Tina Baiz has been identified as the woman who abruptly exited a Marysville, CA, hospital after her two young children tested positive for drugs.
Baiz, from Yuba City, her 2-year-old daughter and 11-month-old son, are considered in danger after the mother bolted from a hospital while her toddler remain connected to an IV.
Tina Baiz, 38, came to Rideout Memorial Hospital Wednesday night after her son Zeke suffered a medical emergency, the Yuba City Police Department said. Police believe Baiz left the hospital with her children after Zeke tested positive for drugs. The 11-month-old was still attached to an IV when Baiz left, police said. source
Police said Thursday the three have not been seen since.
Baiz is described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 145 pounds.
